There are only a few one-of-a-kind things in this world.

There are many canyons dotted across the globe, but only one is the Grand Canyon.

There are many heavenly bodies, stars, planets, asteroids and moons, but in our night sky, for our planet, there is only one moon that lights up the night sky.

There are many religions on the planet, but only one Saviour. HIS name is Jesus. The apostle Peter, in his first Spirit-filled sermon following the Day of Pentecost, proclaimed the uniqueness of Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world. Acts 4:12 tell us “There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” This statement has been both the source of the greatest blessing for those of us who have trusted Jesus Christ and a stumbling block to those who want to try to somehow earn their way into heaven. The world is filled with works-related religion. But only the Christian faith offers eternal life as a GIFT. All that is necessary for us to have our sin removed and a relationship with our Creator God guaranteed was accomplished through Jesus’ death and resurrection. Every other religious system is man’s attempt to reach God. None will ever work because the power of the one true God is not in it. Only Jesus is God’s plan to reach down to us. If you want the peace that God wants us to experience, there is only way – repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
