I see so many of you have happily posted that you are now double vaccinated! It may or may not have been a hard decision for you to make given all the unknowns and controversies. The other day I was asked by a friend if I was doubled vaccinated. They were asking a question that is very polarizing…dividing “the have and the have nots”. I have at different times come to both love and loathe such questions because regardless of my response to it, it gives me food for thought. As I was thinking about this question, I came to the conclusion that it’s a question that needs to be asked for various reasons. For sure COVID has been a deadly disease that has taken many lives and has left others with lasting after effects. It is a question of life and death! Was I, according to this person protecting myself and those around me from possible death…..hmmmmm?

So, as I was thinking along those lines, may I pose a very important question? Are you vaccinated against a very deadly disease that we all have been infected with? Like COVID, we may or may not think we are infected until it’s too late. Are you and I vaccinated against the very real and very deadly disease of sin? The vaccine against this disease came at a very costly price of the Son of God, Jesus. He dealt with this disease on the cross with His very own life so that you and I may live. Like the COVID vaccine, you and I have to accept and take this vaccine in other to be protected. So, again, may I ask you, “Are you vaccinated against this very deadly disease?” Polarizing question? Absolutely, but it’s a matter of life and death!
